Title: Supply Chain Analyst IV

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Fremont, CA

Must be willing to commute between Fremont and Newark for supply chain purposes.

Summary

The IT Logistics Team is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, and hands-on Supply Chain Analyst to support the implementation of industrial engineering and Lean principles within warehouse operations.

This role requires a detailed understanding of warehouse objectives and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to improve overall efficiency, capacity, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities



  • Assist Process Engineers in developing and deploying new processes and methods to improve efficiency, data visibility, and inventory accuracy.
  • Support the design and implementation of new workstation layouts to increase space utilization and reduce process cycle time.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify process constraints and execute solutions.
  • Respond to daily process-related escalations.
  • Conduct time studies and recommend updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following change management processes.
  • Improve workstation safety and ergonomics.
  • Serve as liaison between operations teams and third-party vendors to coordinate routine activities and track open items/escalations.
  • Support projects with:

    • Data analysis
    • Process mapping
    • System enhancement proposals


  • Handle ad hoc stakeholder requests (data reporting, root cause analysis, etc.).
  • Pull data from multiple sources and convert insights into charts/graphs for storytelling and root cause analysis.
  • Assist in solution testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Validate data and dashboards, providing insights for decision-making.


Required Skills

  • Understanding of Lean principles, including:

    • Cycle Time
    • 8 Wastes
    • Root Cause Analysis
    • Just-in-Time (JIT)
    • 5S
    • DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to create process flow maps and SOP documentation.
  • Experience conducting cycle time studies.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Intermediate proficiency in:

    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
    • Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms)


  • Intermediate data analysis skills, including:

    • Running SQL queries
    • Building Tableau dashboards


  • Ability to gather and synthesize data from multiple sources into actionable reporting.
  • Strong learning agility with new tools and systems.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Vendor management experience.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in:

    • Operations Management
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Business Analytics




Must-haves:

  • Minimum 5 YOE
  • Skilled in Data analysis and understanding of data: candidate should be able to read SQL, as well as data reporting, root cause analysis, etc.
  • Supply chain experience within logistics is necessary: this role is part of the IT logistics team
  • Good communication skills with various vendors, and openness to learn and take on challenges
