POSITION TITLE: FOOD BANK COORDINATOR DEPARTMENT: SOCIAL SERVICES STATUS: TEMPORARY FULL-TIME; NON-EXEMPT SUPERVISOR: CORPS OFFICERS *This position is temporary and is intended to provide coverage during an employee's leave of absence. Employment in this role is contingent upon the employee's leave status and may end at any time based on the employee's return to work or business needs.* GENERAL STATEMENT: The Salvation Army is a branch of the Christian Church and the ultimate goal of all programs is spiritual regeneration of all people. SCOPE OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Corps Officer, the Food Pantry Coordinator oversees the operations of the foodbank, including but not limited to supervision and coordination of food bank volunteers, purchasing and restocking of food pantry items, cost and quality control, coordination of food delivery program, monthly statistics and reports as required.
