This opportunity is in the Information Technology department.

Role Description:

As Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal leadership role in advancing Safety National's transformation into a product-led organization. You will translate enterprise strategy into clear product direction, driving disciplined product ownership, stronger roadmap practices, and measurable business outcomes across a diverse technology portfolio that includes modernization efforts, AI readiness, and legacy platforms.

In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and Agile teams to align priorities, elevate product management practices, and ensure decisions are grounded in data, customer insight, and strategic objectives. You will bring clarity to complex initiatives, guide long-term product vision, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

You will lead and develop a team of product managers, strengthening their strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and customer-centric mindset. By championing modern product operating models, you will help embed product management deeply within the business, ensuring ownership of product strategy, performance, and value realization. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing roadmap transparency, driving adoption of product-centric ways of working, and ensuring alignment between business goals and technology delivery.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Required Qualifications:



  • 10 or more years of experience in product management
  • 3 or more years of experience leading and/or managing product teams in Agile environments
  • Demonstrated experience maturing product management practices and leading through organizational transformation
  • Proven track record of developing strategic roadmaps and delivering measurable business value
  • Strong understanding of product ownership, modern product operating models, and value realization
  • Experience leveraging product analytics, business capability models, and customer insights to inform decisions
  • Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with AI-enabled products or applying AI to enhance product strategy, delivery, or user experience
  • Familiarity with UX/product design tools such as Figma
  • Knowledge of business process modeling tools and techniques
  • Experience working within complex enterprise environments with cross-functional teams
  • Financial and investment awareness as it relates to product decision-making

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
