As a Security Officer - Logistics Gate in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and attentive communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or loading area access points to help support authorized access for personnel, vendors, and deliveries within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to access points, trailer yards, docks, and other assigned areas as needed.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation related to security-related concerns, access activity, and/or policy violations observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
