We are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to support our Beauty Client, a fast-paced, global retail organization. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong FP&A and close experience who thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment and is comfortable owning both financial reporting and forecasting processes.

This position plays a critical role in supporting month-end close, store-level financial performance, and forecasting activities, partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Business stakeholders to ensure continuity, accuracy, and actionable insights across the organization.

Key Responsibilities


Month-End Close & Financial Ownership

  • Own and execute month-end close activities, including:

    • Journal entries
    • Accruals
    • Reconciliations
    • Variance analysis


  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results across retail stores, LL charges, and Beauty Services


Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and review monthly financial reporting decks and management presentations
  • Analyze store-level performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Deliver clear, concise financial commentary to support decision-making


Forecasting & Planning

  • Support and drive forecasting cycles, including:

    • Interim Forecast (IF)
    • Strategic Planning (STRAT)


  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on assumptions and inputs
  • Monitor forecast vs. actuals and provide actionable insights


Planning Systems & Modeling

  • Maintain and update Anaplan models, including:

    • New store openings
    • Occupancy costs and LL charges
    • Beauty Services financials


  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across planning systems


Lease Accounting & Treasury Partnership

  • Partner with Accounting and Treasury on IFRS 16 lease accounting and cash flow tracking
  • Support reporting and analysis related to lease liabilities and occupancy costs


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and participate in recurring month-end and forecast review meetings
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and business stakeholders to align on financial performance and priorities


Ad Hoc Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Respond to ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from Finance leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and documentation


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience, preferably within retail or consumer-facing industries
  • Strong experience with month-end close, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Hands-on experience with Anaplan (strongly preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, large data sets, pivots)
  • Experience supporting store-level or operational finance is a plus
