fill Housekeeper positions from 05/1/2026-02/28/2027. This is for full-time,
peak load, temporary employment.


Duties include:


Maintain hotel/resort/villa in clean and orderly manner. Clean guest rooms, in-room kitchens and living rooms, bathrooms, windows, conference
facilities, halls, spa areas and public spaces. Remove, sort, fold, carry and replace linens. Make
beds, replenish supplies, set up guest room and meeting room furniture, pictures, and amenities
according to resort standards. Mop, vacuum, extract/shampoo carpets, dust, clean/polish mirrors,
dispose refuse. Follow all sanitation policies and procedures.


Special Requirements:


No prior experience or education is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Workers are subject to drug testing
upon reasonable suspicion, paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and
foreign/H-2B. Workers are subject to pre-employment criminal background checks, paid by
employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Must be able to work a 5-day
schedule, including weekends and holidays. Applicants must complete an employment
application. Conversational English Required.
The pay is from 17.28 to 19.00 per hour with overtime available at 25.92 to 28.50 per hour, based
on hourly rate. Employer may increase wage based on experience, performance, tenure, and/or
market conditions. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local
law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Employer will provide on-the-job
training.


The work schedule is as follows:


35 hours per week from Saturday to Friday: Various
8-hours shifts (ranging from 7am to 3pm, 12pm to 8pm, 3pm to 11pm, 4pm to 12am, 5pm to 1am,
or 9pm to 5am). Workdays and shift times may vary with occupancy and events. Job opportunity
is a temporary, full-time position. The requested temporary workers will be based at 310 Mount
Washington Hotel Road, Bretton Woods, NH 03575. The employer will provide, at no cost to the
worker, transportation between the designated off-site housing and the worksite for workers who
choose to reside in the employer-provided housing.
Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is Weekly. Employers will
make all deductions from workers' paychecks, which are required by law. Optional employeeshared offsite housing available, including utilities and deposit, at a rate of approximately $125.00
- $165.00 per week, depending on the housing unit. Weekly rates include a $10/week security
deposit that participants get back if the room is left in good condition upon departure. Subject to
housing damage, deposit refunded within 1-month of move out. Cost of housing & deposit payroll
deducted if worker elects. Uniform provided at no cost to employee. If employee elects to live in
employer-based housing, use of the employee cafeteria is included for all meals at no cost.
Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment
will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll
check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the
work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence

from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where
the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of
return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed
to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another
employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most
economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be
provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other
related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not
included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer
will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job
and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer
work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total
employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor.
As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to
change.
