Position Description
This is a paid internship with a hybrid in-office schedule.
Estimated hours: 20-40 hours/week
Pay: $20.00 per hour

We offer a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.
Essential Functions
- Curate, prioritize, and refine high value AI use cases across ATI programs and internal functions.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand current workflows and identify opportunities for AI to improve efficiency, effectiveness, or decision making.
- Translate operational needs into clear, structured problem statements for technical teams and the broader AI cell.
- Develop concept briefs, demonstration narratives, and lightweight business cases that articulate value, feasibility, and expected impact.
- Support user adoption by creating simple guides, playbooks, and user facing materials.
- Positively contribute to the ATI team through strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Learn and gain experience through job shadowing and project based work.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in mapping processes and documenting current state and future state workflows.
- Participate in demos, workshops, and use case development sessions.
- Other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Recent college graduate or currently enrolled college student, preferably with a degree or major area of study in business, systems engineering, technology management, or human-centered design.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and document business or operational processes.
- Familiarity with AI use cases across industries, especially generative AI, automation, and agentic AI.
- Comfort engaging with non technical stakeholders and translating between technical and operational perspectives.
- Basic understanding of workflows, process mapping, or product thinking principles.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment with minimal direction.
- Critical thinking and creative problem solving mindset.
- Individual must meet the definition of "a U.S. person" upon hire due to the risk assessment of this position and access to documents.
