Company Description
At Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, we know world-renowned care begins with world-class caring. That's why we combine advanced technologies and breakthrough discoveries with family-centered care. It's why we provide our caregivers with continuing education and state-of-the-art facilities, like the newly remodeled Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. And it's why we need caring, committed people on our team - like you. Join us on our mission to heal humanity, one child and family at a time. Department Description Join Our Team at Stanford Children's Immune Behavioral Health Clinic- A rewarding opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about the intersection of immunology and pediatric behavioral health. We are on a mission to transform the lives of children and families affected by PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) and PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal infections) - conditions in which immune system dysfunction triggers sudden, dramatic changes in a child's behavior, mood, and cognition. As we grow, we are seeking a dedicated, curious, and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic, interdisciplinary clinical team. This is not a typical nursing role. Our patients are children whose lives have been upended - often overnight - by OCD, tics, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or cognitive decline tied to an immune trigger. Our nurses are integral members of a collaborative team that includes rheumatologists and child psychiatrists, nurse practioner and research specialists. You will be on the front lines of a rapidly evolving field, helping families who have often searched for years to find a practice that truly understands their child. We are one of very few clinics in the United States that cares for these patients. We are looking for a nurse who brings clinical excellence and genuine empathy in equal measure - someone who is comfortable navigating medical complexity, building trust with anxious families, and advocating fiercely for vulnerable patients. Experience in pediatrics, rheumatology, psychiatry, or insurance authorizations is a plus, but an open and inquisitive mind is essential. We invest in our staff with ongoing training in PANS/PANDAS clinical protocols, so a willingness to learn is just as valuable as prior experience. In return, you will find a workplace that is collaborative, mission-driven, and deeply committed to both patient outcomes and staff well-being. At IBH every member of our team - clinical and administrative alike - understands that behind every chart is a child waiting to get their life back. If you are ready to do the most meaningful work of your nursing career, we invite you to apply. This position is Monday through Friday with no weekends. 8am to 430 pm.
