Description

This position is 28 hours per week. The schedule is flexible, but the candidate must be available to work between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.



Role

Assist members with real estate loan applications; loan processing/closings and loan disbursements



Essential Functions & Responsibilities



  • Exemplifies the core values of CAMPUS while supporting our strategic priorities for members, employees, and community. Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Reviews residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets credit union standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment; recommends that loans not meeting standards be denied
  • Prepare loan application forms; submits mortgage loan application files for underwriting approval
  • Prepares closing documents and/or loan modification documents for new and existing loans
  • Calls specified companies to obtain property abstract, survey, and appraisal; informs supervisor of discrepancies in title or survey
  • Records data on status of loans, including number of new applications and loans approved, canceled, or denied
  • Assists with periodic RE Operations projects such as homeowners insurance follow up, property tax payments, construction draws and escrow analysis

Qualifications

Education



  • High School Diploma or GED Required



Experience



  • 0 - 1 year of general experience
