Warehouse Manager

Daikin Applied is seeking a Warehouse Manager to support our Bowie, MD location! The Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!

Location: Onsite in Bowie, MD

Your Responsibilities:

• Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.

• Manages activities of the warehouse including but not limited to record control, shipping and receiving and transportation compliance to ensure availability of merchandise

• Oversees logistics of the shipping and receiving department such as trucking companies' pickup and delivery schedules

• Assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming merchandise, conducting cycle counts and assembling orders for delivery

• Reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities

• Directs reclamation of damaged merchandise

• Ensures the security of the company product

• Benchmark world class and drive efficiency of department work levels to best practices

• Prepares short and long-range plans. Monitors progress

• Prepares and maintains warehouse budget to profit plan and manages within limits of authority

Your Qualifications:

• High school or GED

• 2 year Associate degree perferred

• 5 years related experience

• 2+ years people leadership experience

• 6 months minimum HVAC parts experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

• Experience with warehouse management software

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from 87,800.00 - 130,000.00 USD in Maryland. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
