Job Summary Functions under the direction of the Manager of Supply Chain Systems, the MDM Analyst II is responsible for the assessment, improvement, and appropriate use of data by applying critical analysis and knowledge of our systems, processes, tools and technologies to meet the needs of the business. As a key resource within the MDM Technical team, this role is critical in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction within the Supply Chain function through the strategic use of technology. This role will work with the business partner to create system specifications, configure the system, test and document changes. This role serves as a technical point-of-contact and technical subject matter expert for the Supply Chain domains. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor the state or data quality within discipline area (s).
- Escalate problems where necessary to leaders of the data quality initiative.
- Able to determine the needs of others and translate solutions and concerns into terms that departments and customers can understand.
- Manage day to day support of data add/change requests through ticketing systems.
- Establish goals for data quality improvement.
- Responsible for data input accuracy and standardization.
- Assist in the design and management of a universal Style Guide for overall vendor and location data standardization based on the current data model.
- Assesses whether data is fit for use by performing initial validation of data delivered as part of the project.
- Identify the best approaches for resolving data quality issues
- Plans, coordinates and implements company projects according to established timeline and budget.
- Work with data stewards in other units to develop policies and best practices.
- Understand and identifies business implications of data system designs and the data requirements of user needs.
