Overview

The Staffing Solutions Specialist coordinates and supports community staffing needs through placement of Internal Float Pool associates in communities with open shifts, onboarding, and best practices support for community Staffing Coordinators, and completing daily time and attendance tracking of Internal Float Pool Employees to ensure accurate associate compensation and utilization reporting.



Responsibilities

    Coordinates staffing requests and assignments from start to finish, including but not limited to confirming scheduled shifts directly with each associate and community and communicating regularly with the associate and the community to ensure both experience a positive outcome.
  • Maintains accurate records on associate availability, contact information, location, certifications, qualifications and preferences. Ensures associates are meeting the minimum shift and float requirements.
  • Assists with delegated recruitment and onboarding activities such as conducting reference checks, employment verifications, background checks, validating licenses and certifications, conducting phone screens and candidate interviews, and leading New Associate Welcome, as needed.
  • Reviews and approves timecards and punch requests for Internal Float Pool associates daily. Collaborates with community staff and HR to resolve missing punches, unscheduled shifts, or discrepancies.
  • Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice by incorporating these principles into daily activities and interactions.
  • Performs other duties, tasks, and/or projects as assigned.



Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field
  • Two (2) years' experience in staff scheduling
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

  • Experience with long term care/health care staff scheduling
  • Experience with electronic staffing platforms
