Summary

Work under the direction of the Program Manager to coordinate accreditation compliance of continuing education (CE) for MCW, affiliate organizations, and external partners. Monitor and document accreditation compliance for assigned CE activities.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with continuing education activity directors and continuing education coordinators of Regularly Scheduled Series to ensure accreditation compliance with various continuing education accrediting body rules, guidelines, standards, and criteria. Maintain working understanding of continuing education accreditation, and institutional requirements, policies, and procedures. Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements to ensure full compliance.

  • Support the designated institutional officials, Program Directors, Department Chairs, or other leaders on issues related to the requirements of CE accreditation agencies, national boards, and affiliates.

  • Serve as a CE liaison with faculty, administration, other departments, affiliates, outside institutions, and national organizations.

  • Maintain up to date on CE accreditation policies, standards, and criteria

  • Conduct training for CE Coordinators and maintain the CE Coordinator tools and resources

  • Maintain database(s) to track, schedule, and record activities related to the institution, program(s), and learners.

  • Provide information, support, and problem-solving for leaders, faculty, and staff.

  • Review promotional and educational materials for CE accreditation compliance.

  • Coordinate assessment and evaluation of assigned CE activities.

  • Actively engage in process improvement with the OCPD leadership and staff to contribute to efficiencies and enhanced customer experience.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
  • Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management.

  • Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Required Experience: 2 years

Preferred Experience: 2 years of progressively responsible administrative support experience which includes coordinating educational program.

Physical Requirements

Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.

Sensory Acuity

Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
