Summary of the Job:

The Institutional Wealth Associate supports the delivery of wealth management and paying agent services by partnering closely with administrators and internal teams to help clients achieve their financial goals and objectives. This role assists in managing client relationships across investment management, trust, custody, escrow, and paying agent accounts.

The Associate executes core operational tasks, prepares documentation, supports client communications, and ensures accurate and timely processing of transactions. This role is expected to demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service.

About This Role:

Client Relationship Management
  • Provide operational support to maintain and strengthen client relationships
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Actively listen to client needs and ask thoughtful questions to ensure accurate understanding
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and internal partners
  • Follow up to ensure client needs and expectations are met
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and service delivery
Transaction & Documentation Processing
  • Prepare and maintain forms and documentation required to complete transactions
  • Execute transactions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Set up new accounts and grant client credentials following established procedures
  • Generate client reports and correspondence as needed
  • Support approval processes by ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation
  • Monitor workflows and escalate exceptions or delays as appropriate
Product Knowledge & Solutions
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of wealth management and paying agent products and services
  • Stay current on product updates and relevant industry trends
  • Support the delivery of client solutions aligned with financial goals and objectives
Team Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support daily operations
  • Communicate priorities, progress, and issues to ensure coordination and efficiency
  • Build strong working relationships across teams and business partners
  • Understand how individual responsibilities impact broader team objectives
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes
  • Apply process improvement tools and techniques within day-to-day responsibilities
  • Share ideas and best practices to support continuous improvement
Compliance & Risk Management

Understand and comply with the Bank's policies, regulations, and BSA/AML Program, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Adhere to Customer Identification Program and Customer Due Diligence requirements
  • Identify, monitor, and report suspicious activity
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Complete required compliance and regulatory training in a timely manner
Professional Conduct
  • Demonstrate professionalism and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Support team and departmental goals
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance in alignment with policy

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts related to wealth management and paying agent services Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in wealth management, trust, or paying agent operations
  • Familiarity with institutional clients (e.g., foundations, endowments, pension plans)
  • Working knowledge of relevant systems and platforms
  • Coursework or certifications in finance, trust, or wealth management
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $63,288.00-$104,425.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
