Core Responsibilities:



  • Partner with the Barnes Aerospace Human Resources team to support a variety of HR projects and processes aligned with the Talent Management System (TMS) and overall HR goals and objectives.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for Talent Acquisition activities, including interview logistics, candidate communications, and onboarding coordination.
  • Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and communication materials in support of HR initiatives and programs.
  • Support HR initiatives by compiling data, preparing metrics and insights, and assisting with the development and implementation of process improvement strategies.
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of HR programs and policies, including documentation, communication, and process support (without direct system administration).
  • Provide support for additional ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed across the HR department.



Qualifications:



  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to summarize information and identify trends.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Highly motivated with the ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and work independently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Demonstrated high ethical standards with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week (up to 40 hours), Monday through Friday. Flexible scheduling available.
  • Internship duration ranging from 6 to 12 months.



Education Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as a rising junior or senior, pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or in a Master's Degree program studying Human Resources, or other closely related field of study.
