Description The position of courier is responsible for performing a variety of duties in regard to picking up deposits and delivering change orders to customers in a professional, timely and efficient manner and according to established bank policies and procedures. The transactions will be handled via auto by the courier service that we provide our commercial customers. Essential Duties Represents the bank in a courteous and professional manner. Furnishes prompt, efficient and accurate service in the pickup and delivery of locked bank bags to commercial customers. Collects and distributes inter-office mail according to the schedule provided by their supervisor(s). Maintains a high level of security awareness within daily work responsibilities. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required. Must have an accurate listing of bags that are picked up and delivered. Courier and customer must sign for bags delivered. Receipt is given to customer. Receipt is also given to Vault Teller when bags are checked in to be processed each day. Must be able to operate and maintain company vehicles according to the laws of the State of Texas. Operating a company vehicle is a primary part of the Couriers day. Utilizes a bank debit/credit card (provided by supervisor when needed, not to be kept) in order to maintain the company vehicle. Maintains professional dress.
