Location:FL-Jacksonville Job Title: Master Control Switcher - WFOX TV Position Overview WFOX Jacksonville TV is accepting applications for a Full-Time Master Control Switcher. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Quality Control of all content being processed through Master Control systems Managing On-Air and Commercial Breaks and Content Maintaining On-Air Logs Recording multiple feeds from various sources Monitoring transmitters Complying with all FCC and EAS Regulations Complete multiple tasks accurately and within established deadlines Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in television Master Control Operations a plus References must be provided in writing Knowledge of Video Operations Proficient in computers and accurate data entry Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook Knowledge of video servers and automation systems within a Television environment Ability to plan ahead, troubleshoot and adapt to change with ease Detail oriented Ability to work flexible shifts to cover vacation/sick time Ability to work overtime if necessary Excellent organizational skills Preferred Qualifications One year of broadcasting radio or TV experience preferred About Cox Media Group CMG Media Corporation (d/b/a Cox Media Group) is an industry-leading media company with unparalleled brands, award-winning content, and exceptional team members.
