Here's what it takes to succeed with us.

• Associate's degree or some college coursework preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
• Experience in produce or perishable goods industry strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with routing, dispatching, and load planning

Skills & Competencies

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Strong knowledge of transportation and DOT regulations
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make sound, timely decisions

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch shipments using both in-house and third-party carriers
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
• Negotiate transportation rates and services with carriers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics partners
• Schedule, book, and track shipments from origin to final delivery
• Monitor transit times and proactively resolve delays or service issues
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company transportation policies
• Partner with Sales to forecast and support current and future shipping needs
• Maintain accurate records, including carrier contracts and insurance certificates
• Communicate regularly with customers and internal teams regarding shipment status
