Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.90
Salary range updated 2/26/2026. Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
Location: Pittsfield, MA , Albany, NY, CT, VT
Purpose/Objective:
Provides ongoing support and guidance to branch network to ensure effective operations. Assists with system implementation of new products, systems testing and branch reporting; maintains procedures and assists with communications. Also provides support with system and branch conversions including updates, mergers, acquisitions, and de novo openings. Must be available to work flexible work schedules/shifts, including weekends, to accommodate the extended operating hours and business needs of the retail branch network. Position requires occasional travel across branch footprint and the ability to stay productive while working independently.
Key Accountabilities:
* Serves as a resource and provides support to Retail Branch Banking on a variety of day-to-day operational issues such as balancing, transaction processing, account opening and/or any variety of compliance/regulatory issues. Assists with coordination of de novo branches, mergers/acquisition projects as well as branch closures. Works in conjunction with Branch Operations leadership to ensure branches are operating effectively and to resolve complex operating and/or legal issues, all while ensuring a high level of service quality through any communication channel. 50%
* Performs analysis of branch functions to ensure compliance in multiple areas and provides data on performance trends. Assists with branch campaign monitoring. Oversees branch self-audit submissions and ensures satisfactory completion. Participates in Operations Surprise Audit program across branch network. Assists with interdepartmental communications, issues, and projects. 30%
* Stays abreast of and demonstrates extensive knowledge of products and services offered, applicable laws/regulations, and policies and procedures. Maintains procedure archive for branch network and Branch Operations. Conducts research and performs testing to develop comprehensive procedures and forms; recommends procedural changes and submits for approval. 20%
* Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.
Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
* 3+ years' experience in banking
* Customer service experience preferred
* Advanced knowledge of FIS applications
Skills & Knowledge:
* Proficient computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Superior organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
* Ability to make educated, customer-focused decisions
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity
