Your Job

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for individuals to join their dynamic team as a Material Coordinator at the Jonesboro, AR facility. The primary responsibility is to receive all raw materials and distributes product and equipment within the warehouse and production area. This position will complete all necessary receiving/ production paperwork and Oracle transactions. This position also provides safe work instructions to warehouse workers and material handlers.

Pay: $20 to $21.65 based on experience

Shifts Available:

  • Night shift 6:55pm to 7:00am

What You Will Do

  • Moves raw materials and stock in warehouse or manufacturing facility, shipping lines, and other storage areas using forklift and material handling equipment
  • Provided safe work direction and work schedules to Warehouse Workers and Material Handlers to ensure the warehouse and production floor run smoothly
  • Receive and stock products from manufacturers and wholesalers. Moves the product around warehouse, operating scanners and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Coordinate and schedule on-time deliveries of raw material with vendors and purchasing via e-mail, phone, and fax
  • Coordinate all supply chain movements between facilities and ensures all silo levels are recorded daily and meets production requirements
  • Assure accurate quantities of product ware received by comparing appropriate paperwork and matching product numbers Questions and resolves all discrepancies as required. Ensures all paperwork is filed and recorded.
  • Ensure all Product Safety and Product Defense policies and procedures are followed and documented
  • Complete daily audits of equipment, scanners, and receiving area facilities
  • Ensure work orders for repairs and helpdesk tickets for IT issues are entered as needed
  • Input material information into Oracle for inventory tracking to assure accuracy and completeness
  • Identify product shortages/damages from delivery upon receipt of product and reports to management
  • Schedule all raw material deliveries to the plant

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience operating a forklift
  • 1 year of experience working in a warehouse
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
