Job Role and Responsibility: AMD is hiring a Sr. Systems Design Engineer to Contribute to automated test development and execution to enhance data analytics capabilities related to semiconductor device/product development. Partner with central automation team to capture requirements, develop automated workloads, and create reports for design engineering. Document test procedures, automation scripts, and data analysis methods. Automate test executions, modify benchmark scripts, and integrate new settings in internal tool using Python and C#. Collaborate with the central automation team to create new workloads and implement CI/CD workflows. Explore and evaluate automation strategies across teams to identify optimal solutions for project requirements. Design a complete and complex framework, system or product. Conceive system interfaces and business application prototypes. Identify, analyze and resolve system design weaknesses. Provide multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience as Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Analytics Developer, or similar data engineering occupation.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:

  • C, C++, or Python;
  • SQL;
  • ETL pipelines;
  • PowerBI, Tableau, or Sigma for data visualization and modeling;
  • Data structures, automation, and integration;
  • CI/CD automation and test script automation frameworks; and
  • Performing root cause analysis and debugging data pipeline failures.
