Job title: Project Manager I - Immunology Medical Payer Strategy

Location: Mettawa, IL 60045

Duration: 6 months (Possible Extension)

Description:

  • The Project Manager I, Immunology Medical Payer Strategy, helps develop and carry out strategies that support payer and population-based health care decision maker needs.
  • This role works closely with teams across the company, including Market Access, Commercial, HEOR, Clinical Development, and Medical Affairs.
  • This person serves as liaison to the Immunology Medical Payer Strategy team therapeutic directors (MPS-Ds), helping translate scientific and health economic data into useful information for both internal teams and external payer customers.



Main responsibilities:

  • In consultation with the MPS-Ds, develop and implement medical affairs strategies and tactics for payer and population-based health care decision makers.
  • Create and manage approval of materials such as slide decks and FAQs for the Value & Access team to use with external payer customers.
  • Route these materials via our regulatory processes for use by our field teams
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide scientific and health economic expertise.
  • Provide support of the real-world evidence plan with HEOR to support business and scientific goals.
  • Stay current on scientific, health economic, and payer policy updates through conferences and medical literature.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist the MPS-Ds with regulatory, OEC, and legal discussions.
  • May provide scientific or pharmacoeconomic consultation on immunology projects.
  • Assist with the development of accurate pharmacoeconomic materials, medical education programs (including webinars and podcasts), advisory boards, and payer symposia.
  • May help review, develop, execute, and communicate real-world evidence research activities.
  • May lead cross-functional subteams on specific projects.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and provide strategic recommendations to the MPS-Ds.
  • In partnership with the MPS-Ds, develop strategic resources and provide scientific and technical training.
  • Assist with the training of the Value & Access payer team.



Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree strongly preferred, such as PhD/PharmD
  • Experience leading teams and projects without authority
  • Ability to work with both internal and external partners to support business strategy.
  • Ability to support real-world evidence studies and medical affairs research.
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and regulatory requirements for RWE
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work mostly independently with limited guidance.
