Application Programmer (Job Code: 1026)

Duties: Responsible for developing, enhancing, testing, supporting, maintaining, an debugging software applications that support business units or support functions; assisting senior business leaders and management; providing strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives; utilizing in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization; estimating efforts for software application for one or more programmers; coordinating collaboration with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget; providing feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives; understanding AJAX and fetching data from a service endpoint that can be used to render dynamic web content; utilize and apply knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST Web Services, React JS, Angular, SQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes to accomplish necessary tasks; reviewing UX wireframe and building corresponding UI efficiently; working with UX partners and identifying design risks proactively to deliver applications for high-traffic websites; communicating complex technology solutions to diverse teams, namely technical, business and management; breaking down requirements and solving complex problems; bringing improvement ideas to the team; and driving the execution/implementation.

Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

Salary: $131,997 per year (standard benefits apply);

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Software Engineer, as a Senior Software Engineer, as a Java Developer, as an I.T. Analyst, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year's use of all the following: Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST Web Services, React JS, Angular, SQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Second Installment*: $500.00 after the candidate has been on assignment for a minimum period of 6 months.

The candidate must still be on billing at the time the second payment is due for you to be eligible to receive it. *Installments are typically mailed out towards the end of the qualifying month. Please note that depending on when your referral started his/her assignment, payment may not be received until the following month.
