The Investigational Drug Services (IDS) Clinical Pharmacist Specialist (CPS) independently supports pharmaceutical care services and the growth of the clinical research program through collaboration with Pharmacy and Research leadership, sponsors, regulatory agencies, investigators, and multidisciplinary care teams. This role provides expert guidance to ensure regulatory compliance, operational quality, and standardized use of investigational medications across the organization. As a pharmacy subject matter expert, the CPS develops and maintains systems that support strategic research initiatives, addresses complex therapeutic and operational issues, and serves as a liaison between Pharmacy and Research departments. The position also represents research pharmacy across disease teams and committees while contributing to staff education, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving.
