JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Serve as the Management Representative for the Quality Management System (QMS), maintaining direct communication with top management to resolve quality-related issues.
* Ensure the QMS complies with ISO 9001, AS9100, AS13100, AS13001, AS9117, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team, including DPRV personnel and Document Control functions, while promoting a strong quality culture.
* Oversee the maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the QMS, including internal/external audits, certifications, and DPRV processes.
* Manage and support internal and external audit activities in accordance with ISO 19011 standards.
* Drive supplier quality performance, including evaluation, monitoring, and improvement in coordination with Procurement and Sourcing teams.
* Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives using methodologies such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, and PDCA.
* Support risk management activities, including DPRV processes and identification of quality and operational risks.
* Promote lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and efficiency improvement projects.
* Ensure compliance with ethical standards, safety requirements, and company policies while fostering a culture of accountability and integrity.
* Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, certification bodies, and senior leadership regarding quality system performance and compliance status.
* Deliver training and guidance to employees on quality standards, QMS procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
* Monitor and report QMS performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budgets, and strategic objectives.
* Support cross-functional teams to improve process effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance across the organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
* ISO 9001 / AS9100 Lead Auditor certification required.
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related role within manufacturing or aerospace environments.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS13100, AS13001, and related quality management systems.
* Experience with internal/external audits, supplier quality, and QMS documentation control.
* Strong proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies (8D, PDCA, Ishikawa, 5 Why).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and influence a quality-first culture.
* Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) preferred.
* Experience in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
* Familiarity with supplier development and advanced supplier quality systems.
* Experience leading organizational QMS certifications and audit readiness programs.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and structured continuous improvement systems.
* Prior experience working with cross-functional leadership teams and external regulatory bodies.
