Job Description Summary #LI-RemoteThis position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager: estimated 20-25% annually, up to 30% seasonally. The Medical Director (or Senior Medical Director commensurate with experience) provides critical input into strategic planning, tactical planning and implementation, as well as budget planning. The Medical Director will drive strong collaboration and co-leadership of the products with colleagues in Global, US Medical, US Commercial, and other cross-functional partners. Specific responsibilities will include the implementation, design and execution of clinical trials in Neuroscience, leadership of advisory boards and other engagements with Medical Experts, development of the data generation plan and development and implementation of medical communication strategy, conducting field force training, active participation in promotional and non-promotional material development and review, and various internal and external presentations, lead insights across medical functions, clinical care gaps outcome and strategy for NOGE. While a key focus of the four role openings will be on neuromuscular diseases, the roles require adaptability and leadership across a range of neuroscience pipeline and portfolio products. Novartis Compensation Summary The salary for this position is expected to range between $204,400 and $379,600 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
