As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Our Unarmed Patrol Officers at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role is ideal for dependable professionals who value teamwork, act with integrity, and bring an agile, caring approach while supporting daily operations and contributing to a well-run environment.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Support facility operations by communicating with personnel during routine and emergency situations, assisting with traffic and/or pedestrian flow, and maintaining detailed activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
