Warehouse Associate Winston Salem, NC Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour 26-04789 Job Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through order pulling, staging, inventory handling, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation. This role requires safe operation of sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers, including work at heights up to 20 feet. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining organized and accurate inventory processes. Job Responsibilities Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment and delivery. Operate sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers safely and efficiently. Load and unload trucks and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials and inventory. Perform inventory handling and material organization tasks. Operate warehouse equipment at heights up to 20 feet as required. Maintain accurate order picking and inventory processes with strong attention to detail. Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times. Follow warehouse procedures, operational guidelines, and safety standards. Assist with shipping, receiving, returns, and general warehouse support duties as assigned. Job Requirements Minimum of 6 months of recent warehouse experience required. Minimum of 6 months of recent sit-down forklift experience required. Ability to operate a cherry picker and work at heights up to 20 feet. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately. Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely. Reliable work history with minimal employment gaps preferred. Ability to work in a physically active warehouse environment. Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse inventory preferred. Work Experience Experience in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment preferred. Forklift operation experience required.
