Job Description

A Brief Overview

The Customer Service Assistant is expected to provide customer service to users of the department's current Rate, Quote, Bind, Issue (RQBI) application.

This role will work onsite 5x per week from our Omaha NE or Richmond VA office location.

Must be willing to work one Saturday per month for 2-4 hours.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Product Systems Specialist in providing business support for the department's Rate, Quote, Bind, Issue (RQBI) system.
  • Work with our external agents and internal users with questions regarding the RQBI system.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answer incoming inquiries, assist with application access needs, researching questions, escalating questions, etc.
  • This individual is expected to form relationships with various support units such as IT Colony Rater programming team, Actuary, Filing, and Product Management.
  • Assist with testing changes to the RQBI system and track results of those tests.
  • Download MVRs from the current MVR vendor to the company system.
  • Set up invoices from our external agents for reimbursement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must display a professional demeanor
  • General knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with initiative and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
