We have an exciting Human ResourcesGeneralistopportunity in our Merriam, KS office. In this role, you will administer and execute human resource programs, oversee employment-related inquiries, andparticipatein employee relationsmattersand investigations.Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, manage HR records, and support employee engagement activities. Assistwith executing the annual operating plan for the HR department.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform routine tasksrequiredto administer and execute human resource programs, including benefits; leave of absence; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management;training and development; and employeerecognition.


  • Oversee employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to theappropriate staff.


  • Attend andparticipatein employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.


  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations andrecommend best practices; reviewpolicies and practices tomaintaincompliance.


  • Maintain knowledge of HRtrends, bestpractices, andregulatory/employment lawchanges.


  • Review, track, and document compliance training.


  • Manage KC HR filing, documenting,HRISsystem entry, and overallpersonnel recordmaintenance.


  • Organizenew hireonboarding,orientation, and offboarding meetings.


  • Draft and update HR communications such as emails, PowerPoint presentations,Screencloud, iZone, etc.


  • Oversee tuition reimbursements for all Seaboard Foods employees.


  • Manage the HR Outlook inbox and physical inbox and direct accordingly.


  • Support employees with basicemployment and benefit-related questions.


  • Assistin coordinating and communicating employee engagement activities andoff-sitemeetings.


  • Other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related fieldrequired.


  • At leasttwoyearsof human resource management experience is preferred.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.


  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.


  • Must be able to multi-task, have attention to detail, and be highly organized to complete projectsina timelyandaccuratemannerwith minimal mistakes.


  • Proficient in PC skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.


Preferred



  • SHRM-CPcertification.


  • UKGhuman resource management softwareknowledgeand experience.


  • Proficiencywith or the ability to quicklylearnthe organization's HRIS.



SCHEDULE



  • This position will be on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
