Make a lasting impact on patients living with complex rheumatologic disease through longitudinal, clinic-based pharmaceutical care. At UVA Health, ambulatory pharmacists are trusted clinical partners. This newly created Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist embedded within Rheumatology represents a strategic investment in specialty care, patient access, and relationship-based practice. This role is designed for a pharmacist who wants to practice at the top of their license, build long-term patient relationships, and help shape how specialty pharmacy services integrate directly into outpatient clinical care. The Role This is a newly created, clinic embedded ambulatory clinical pharmacist position supporting UVA Health's rheumatology physician group. While the role is aligned with UVA Specialty Pharmacy, most of the work is clinic based, partnering closely with rheumatology providers, nurses, and patients to manage complex medication therapy across the continuum of care. You will complement an existing rheumatology pharmacist and help expand services, capacity, and clinical impact as the program continues to grow. Serve as a core clinical partner to rheumatology physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and clinic staff.
