Vehicle Quality Inspector - Port Operations

Vehicle Quality Inspector | Temporary Assignment | Ellabell, GA

Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for automotive quality? Join a major vehicle launch project and help ensure every vehicle meets the highest quality standards before reaching customers.

As a Vehicle Quality Inspector, you will perform inspections on new vehicles at a busy port operations facility, identifying and documenting quality concerns before shipment. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with automotive inspection, dealership, port operations, vehicle processing center (VPC), or quality control experience.

Schedule & Location

• Ellabell, GA
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Inspect 20-40 vehicles per day
• Primarily outdoor work environment

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect new vehicles for fit, finish, function, and overall quality
• Perform interior, exterior, and under-hood inspections
• Identify, document, and report vehicle defects using Apple/iPad-based audit tools
• Verify accessories, labels, and pre-installed options
• Complete quality audits and inspection reports
• Communicate findings with OEM, logistics, and operations teams
• Utilize mobile applications, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive, dealership, port, VPC, or vehicle inspection experience
• Experience identifying vehicle defects and quality issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Comfortable working outdoors and inspecting multiple vehicles daily
• Basic computer skills, including mobile devices and reporting tools
