Job Summary:
The Director of Capital Projects leads the University of Wisconsin - Madison's Capital Projects team, overseeing the management and delivery of all capital projects exceeding $600,000. The team is comprised of project managers, project coordinators, and construction field representatives who drive consistent, high-quality project execution across a diverse and complex portfolio. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across the full project lifecycle, working closely with campus leaders, stakeholders, and external partners. The Director not only ensures successful project delivery, but also shapes capital delivery practices, drives process improvements, and strengthens performance across the program. Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M), Capital Project Delivery FP&M is a full-spectrum service organization that builds, maintains, and operates the physical environment of UW-Madison in the university's education, research, and outreach activities.
