Must have a secret security clearance. Description 1) Support Government Leads with day-to-day engineering efforts across enterprise systems 2) Design, implement, and troubleshoot LAN, BAN, and WAN network environments 3) Provide technical leadership for integration and testing of large-scale, complex networks 4) Support network conversions, upgrades, and cutover activities 5) Deliver near real-time situational awareness across IT systems, events, incidents, and infrastructure 6) Enable NetOps visibility and control through network management systems and C2 capabilities 7) Support network operational control for mission-critical infrastructure and services 8) Perform system integration, server installation, and hardware/software configuration 9) Develop and maintain Active Directory (AD) and LDAP integrations 10) Support PKI integration and two-factor authentication solutions 11) Perform system backups, disaster recovery, and security patching per government standards 12) Troubleshoot networks using packet inspection and monitoring tools 13) Design and maintain system dashboards and monitoring platforms 14) Support application networking protocols, routing, and information assurance initiatives 15) Work with centralized management systems across multi-vendor environments Skills Design, Network engineering, Network design, Router, Firewall, ccnp, Wan, BGP, OSPF, eigrp, Cisco switches, Paloalto, Troubleshooting, Juniper, netscout, performance management, redhat enterprise linux Top Skills Details Design,Network engineering,Network design,Router,Firewall,ccnp,Wan,BGP,OSPF,eigrp Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field 10+ years of general IT experience Strong background in enterprise network design and engineering Experience with network performance monitoring and configuration Strong understanding of routing, LAN/WAN, and network protocols Experience integrating and managing Active Directory (AD) environments Experience with PKI and secure authentication frameworks Familiarity with disaster recovery and backup processes Experience with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Sniffer, etc.) ITIL v3 Foundation Certification DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification Nice to Have: Experience with NetScout platforms (nGenius, Infinistream, etc.) Experience with multi-vendor tools (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Brocade) RedHat Enterprise Linux administration HP Operations Manager (OMi), NNMi, and related automation tools Experience with Network Access Control / Comply-to-Connect Familiarity with DoD environments and infrastructure Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
