What to Expect
Provide network engineering and operational support in a global manufacturing and enterprise environment. This role will ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with Senior and Staff Network
Engineers on design and initiatives - Maintain current network solution within
manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments - Address requirements gathering, analyze, and
propose solutions to networking needs - Provision, implement, test/validate, and
maintain networking services per solution design - Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of
network services - Document network knowledgebase and operational
"Run-Book" - Participate in on-call rotation and perform
basic troubleshooting - Must be able to work occasional weekends,
after hours, and holidays - 2% travel required as necessary
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in IP networking, L2/L3
network protocols, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, QoS, VLAN, ACL, NAC - Experience with multi-vendor firewall
technologies including Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks (IPSEC VPN, URL filtering, IDS/IPS) - Experience with multi-vendor switching
technologies including Juniper, Arista, or Cisco - Experience with AAA protocols, Network Access
Control, or RADIUS - Experience with Protocol Analyzer, SNMP,
Netflow, IPAM, Splunk, Wireshark, and network taps - Experience developing scripts to automate
infrastructure deployment and collect metrics - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Visio
