We are responsible for safeguarding the firm's relationship with alumni, clients, shareholders, policymakers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm's evolving priorities. We also partner with the businesses to source high-impact opportunities in line with the firm's social and sustainability agendas.

Led by the firm's first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs is backed by momentum and a broad imperative to unify the discipline, driving a business-critical function focused on the firm's future growth. As such, Global Marketing is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization consists of Corporate Reputation Marketing and business marketing teams, as well as center of excellence (COE) teams like paid media, research, and design. Together, these functions collaborate to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to drive commercial impact for the firm and the businesses we serve.

About the Role

The Corporate Reputation Marketing Associate will help protect and elevate the reputation of Goldman Sachs by stewarding integrated, end-to-end campaigns across our thought leadership, commercial leadership, and social impact marketing pillars.

Designed for a highly organized self-starter, this role will lead day-to-day management of the Corporate Reputation Campaign - the firm's always-on, cross-pillar marketing program designed to safeguard and strengthen our brand. The ideal candidate combines exceptional attention to detail with strong strategic thinking required to develop on-brief, brand-aligned creative, and brings a deep understanding of the financial services landscape. The ideal candidate should be able to originate and execute creative solutions with flexibility, operational rigor, and at pace.

The Associate will partner closely with Brand Strategy, Digital Marketing & Channels, Content, and Design teams - as well as counterparts across business marketing divisions - to execute distinctive marketing strategies that bring audiences closer to what makes Goldman Sachs exceptional, with a particular focus on our market insights and commercial performance.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing campaigns and internal and external agency partners from ideation and execution, as well as performance analysis, sharp reputational judgment and risk awareness, a keen eye for distinctive creative, and strong copywriting skills.

Responsibilities



  • Execute the corporate reputation marketing strategy, translating the corporate brand's messaging pillars into timely, relevant content distributed across owned and paid channels.
  • Lead strategic, creative, and executional management of the always-on Corporate Reputation Campaign - generating new marketing ideas to support firm priorities, stewarding asset creation, and using performance data to continuously optimize results.
  • Partner with the Paid Media team to develop campaign strategies, manage creative handoffs, review preview links and identify issues, monitor live executions, and escalate or resolve implementation issues.
  • Build networks across the firm to understand business priorities, align business marketing efforts with corporate brand initiatives, and co-create marketing ideas.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships within Marketing, including regular presentations to leaders on upcoming campaign messages, integrated marketing plans, and creative work.
  • Across a wide range of integrated campaigns, proactively bring forward ideas for new marketing messages, develop compelling copy, and steward integrated campaigns from development to execution.
  • Oversee the content approval process across Marketing leadership, internal stakeholders, and Legal and Compliance, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand and regulatory standards.
  • Support budget management and hygiene, including campaign and creative agency spend tracking.


Qualifications



  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, and/or reputation management, with demonstrated fluency in paid and owned marketing channels, creative development with external agency partners, and end-to-end campaign management.
  • Sharp instinct for reputational risk management and strong creative judgment across written, design, and video channels.
  • Exceptional communication and creative presentation skills, including comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive self-starter with a proven track record of generating original creative ideas and building strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Eagerness and experience with leveraging AI tools to improve and accelerate marketing workflows - from audience targeting and content generation to performance reporting.
  • Excellent copywriting skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates clarity, brand voice fluency, and subject matter expertise in finance and capital markets.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)


Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
