Job Summary

Responsible for providing expertise pertaining to fleet operations within and across Core & Main. Manage data from various sources and ensure data integrity. Analyze data and provide ongoing updates for vendor and departmental system and projects.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Provides daily administration of maintenance, fuel, registration, subrogation and collision programs.

  • Coordinates the procurement, inspection, assignment, maintenance, repair, and disposal of company-wide fleet.

  • Coordinates vehicle and equipment transfers.

  • Drives documentation process and evaluates information pertaining to fleet.

  • Arranges for maintenance and repair of transportation vehicles and for replacement units while vehicles are being repaired.

  • Compiles and analyzes data; prepares reports and makes recommendations.

  • Conducts research on industry trends and benchmarks and reports out to management.

  • Provides input on policies and procedures related to fleet management.

  • Conducts/participates in safety training and ensures compliance with safety regulations.

  • Provides support for ad hoc requests, projects and assignments for internal customers and vendors, as needed.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with financial concepts and terminologies used in business.

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Certification may be required in some areas. Generally, 0-2 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field.
