| Job Title: Crew Lead Location: Technibus South - Rock Hill, SC Classification: Non-exempt Department: South Technibus Shop Reports To: Operations Supervisor Position Overview We are seeking a driven and hands-on 2nd Shift Crew Lead to join our steel manufacturing operation. This Technibus role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building high-performing teams, and takes pride in delivering results. The right candidate brings strong leadership, integrity, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high attention to detail. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes while championing continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of production employees on 2nd shift Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Champion 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive corrective actions Coordinate daily operations to meet production goals, quality standards, and deadlines Identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively Maintain strong communication with other shifts and departments Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing production demands Hold team members accountable while supporting their growth and success Drive performance by setting clear expectations and leading by example Preferred Qualifications Experience in a welding or steel manufacturing environment Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices Prior military experience (strongly valued but not required) Background in team leadership, supervision, or crew management Job Locations US-SC-Rock Hill Company Overview IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.
