The Quality Inspector - NDT is ensuring product quality and compliance by performing non-destructive testing and inspection activities across manufacturing processes. This role is supporting operational excellence through defect identification, accurate reporting, and adherence to industry standards while contributing to continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.

As a Quality Inspector - NDT, you will be responsible for:

  • Selecting, calibrating, and operating non-destructive testing equipment for product and material inspection

  • Performing inspections using Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Nital Etch, visual, and dimensional techniques

  • Identifying defects in solid materials and ensuring product quality meets required standards

  • Preparing and maintaining detailed reports of non-destructive testing results

  • Documenting testing methods, processes, and results using ERP systems

  • Reviewing and understanding industry standards and ensuring compliance in all testing activities

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support quality and production requirements

  • Maintaining accurate data records and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a 2-year Technical Degree or equivalent experience in quality control

  • Have 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a mechanical or manufacturing environment

  • Have experience in non-destructive testing methods such as UT, MT, PT, and visual inspection

  • Have good analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Have the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders

  • Have understanding of business processes, industry standards, and Baker Hughes technologies

  • Have basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and ERP systems
