Strategic Media Planning Specialist

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.


Summary

This role supports a strategic marketing team focused on driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and performance through integrated media planning. The position plays a key role in developing data-driven strategies and campaigns across multiple channels.


Our Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in media planning and strategy, with agency experience preferred
  • Passion for marketing strategy and audience engagement with a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making
  • Proficient in cross-channel media planning, analytics tools, and research platforms (e.g., syndicated research and social listening tools), with strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Familiar with traditional and digital media channels including TV, OOH, social, and digital advertising
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, media, analytics, and creative
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights


Job Description

In this role, you will develop and execute integrated media strategies that align with business goals and campaign objectives.

You'll partner with marketing leads, media teams, analytics, and creative stakeholders to build data-informed plans and oversee campaign execution. This includes developing media briefs, analyzing performance, optimizing campaigns, and presenting strategic recommendations.

You will also manage workflows across internal and external teams, ensure campaign alignment across channels, and provide ongoing insights to improve performance and inform future strategies, supporting overall marketing effectiveness and growth.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • Background in media planning, marketing, communications, or advertising
  • Experience working in agency or integrated campaign environments preferred


Additional Requirements

  • This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA and requires hybrid work
  • The pay for this W-2 position is $67.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked
