Position Summary - Why This Position is for You We are looking for a highly motivated, customer service orientedTechnical Recruiter to partner with hiring managers and business leaders to attract, engage, and hire top technical talent. This role is part of PACCAR's recruiting team and will primarily provide on-site support for IT and Data Analytics positions, with opportunities to assist with broader professional recruiting needs. The recruiter will manager full-cycle recruiting activity, build diverse talent pipelines, advise hiring teams on talent market trends, and help deliver a strong candidate and hiring manager experience. Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and information technology roles at multiple levels, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, and requisition management. PACCAR's IT organization provides systems development, consulting, and voice and data communications services to the corporation, requiring recruiters to understand technical skill requirements and business needs.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, develop effective recruiting strategies, and provide guidance on candidate pipelines, market availability, and selection decisions.
- Provide an exceptional candidate and hiring team experience through timely communication, reliable follow-up, strong process management, and professional representation of PACCAR's employment brand.
- Build diverse talent communities and increase PACCAR brand awareness through sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, professional networks, employee referrals, campus partnerships, and other creative sourcing strategies.
- Conduct candidate pre-screens, assess qualifications against role requirements, and coordinate interviews across hiring teams to support an efficient and consistent selection process.
- Participate in campus recruiting, career fairs, networking events, and other outreach activities to strengthen early-career and experienced talent pipelines.
- Support temporary contractor and staff augmentation recruiting processes as needed, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Participate in recruiting projects, process improvements, special assignments, and PACCAR-wide initiatives that improve recruiting effectiveness, candidate experience, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required; engineering and/or IT recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems required; SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
- Metrics-driven mindset with experience using recruiting data to evaluate pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and overall recruiting strategy.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain consistent follow-through.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel to or support recruiting activity at PACCAR locations in Mount Vernon, Renton, and Bellevue, as business needs require.

The salary range for Technical Recruiter is $80,800 - $120,800 annually. This role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
