Position Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of chillers/air handling units from concept to production. You will work closely with senior engineers, cross-functional teams, and manufacturing to support product design, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of components and systems for HVAC products, including structural, thermal, ad mechanical aspects.
  • Create and update detailed drawings, and BOMs in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform basic engineering calculations, tolerance stack-ups, and stress/thermal analysis with supervision.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and design validation activities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure designs are cost-effective and manufacturable.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in an engineering environment or co-op/internship experience in an engineering environment.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software (i.e. Solidworks, Creo, SolidEdge).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
