Work as a Clinical Rotation Analyst for the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance (Phoenix, AZ). Serves as the subject matter expert for clinical rotations across Alliance member sites, supporting physician assistant students, medical students, residents, and fellows. This role ensures rotation capacity, learner placement, and rotation primacy for Creighton Health Sciences students in Phoenix while maintaining high-quality clinical learning environments. Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor clinical rotations for PA students, medical students, residents, and fellows across Alliance member sites to ensure appropriate learner volume and placement.
- Partner with PA, Undergraduate Medical Education (UME), and Graduate Medical Education (GME) stakeholders to optimize rotation capacity, reporting, and learner experiences.
- Collaborate with Health Sciences campus leaders to support learner rotation needs and training site capacity.
- Serve as the primary contact for health sciences programs rotating through Alliance member sites, providing guidance on workflows, scheduling, capacity, onboarding, and reporting.
- Standardize processes across Arizona teaching sites for rotation identification, placement, onboarding, and reporting.
- Support learner onboarding and facilitate collaboration among teaching sites.
- Work closely with academic and clinical leadership, including Chairs, Clerkship Directors, Program Directors, managers, and administrators, to ensure effective learner placement and resource utilization.
- Serve as the primary liaison for operational coordination across Alliance member sites, facilitating resolution of cross-functional issues, supporting learner onboarding, tracking academic affiliation agreements, and ensuring alignment of clinical education processes.
- Represent the Creighton Alliance partnership through committee participation, special projects, and institutional initiatives; develop reports, presentations, and data analyses to inform stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in academic medicine, healthcare education, student affairs, or a related healthcare environment.
- Experience with provider and/or learner scheduling required.
- Proficiency with Excel, Adobe Acrobat, databases, and other business software. Knowledge of Clinician Nexus, New Innovations, VSLO, or similar systems preferred.
- Experience with data analytics is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing programs or process improvements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally.
