The primary mission of the University of California Police is the protection of life and property upon and adjacent to the University campus. The primary goal of the department is to accomplish its mission in a manner that enhances and supports the University's ability to deliver quality higher education and research opportunities in a peaceful learning environment. Officers employed by UCRPD serve in various roles in support of this mission.
The full salary range for the Police Officer is $100,766.88 - $126,699.84 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. | |
