Location: Yankton, SD

Pay Range: $ $58,119 to $78,560

Job Summary:

Responsible for purchasing repair parts and supplies for maintenance and production departments for two facilities (Yankton SD and Portland OR). Duties include updating and maintaining blanket purchase orders, supplier evaluations, working with internal customers to source new and existing parts and supplies, assisting the inventory control analyst with maintaining inventory levels, and reconciling invoice issues.

What you will be doing



  • Daily responsibilities include reviewing purchase requisitions and converting them to purchase orders, maintaining and updating blanket purchase orders.
  • Work with suppliers to manage and resolve all purchase order issues including timelines, pricing disputes, quantity requirements and shipping methods
  • Timely processing of purchase orders for all items to be sent out for repair. Review quotes for repair vs new price, follow-up for return of repair to stock and update of all repair orders.
  • Assist Account Payables with invoice issues and Receiving Department with incoming order discrepancies.
  • Provide daily purchasing support for product due date requests
  • Other duties as assigned



What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:



  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Must be adaptable to working in a rapidly changing and evolving environment
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and participate in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal, and ability to work independently and within a team.



Preferred Skills/Qualifications:



  • One to two years' experience with purchasing or inventory management of MRO parts a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of Imports a plus
