What you will enjoy doing*
- You will schedule
the containers' movement and planning the shipments into /out of the product resources, transfill plants and customer sites by using scheduling and planning programs - Coordinate
the shipments with various Carriers, freight forwards, and drivers - You are responsible for taking orders via phone, email or online ordering program from internal and
external customers and arrange for the required supply - Attend
to customer requirements to ensure enhanced quality services are provided - You will monitor
and coordinate imports and exports with our logistics partners - Working
with Helium distribution centers, and coordinate the shipments based on the available inventory - You will research,
record and calculate accurate gas readings for billing purposes - Consider
cost implications of decisions and identify distribution cost savings opportunities - Ensure
all deliveries comply with Linde's Quality Assurance program as well as all applicable regulatory programs - You are responsible for recording Quality Incident Reports when appropriate for system improvement
What makes you great
- You have two (2) or more years' supply chain, logistics, customer service experience
- You have experience working with MS Office (Excel and Word)
- Must be detail oriented and work to achieve accuracy
- Ability to work in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment
- You have a bachelor's degree in supply chain, operation management
- You have five (5) or more years' experience working in a logistics/production planning/supply chain business environment
- Export / Import knowledge and experience is required
- Industrial Gas Knowledge
- Strong communication and computer skills
- You are willing
to work in modified shift schedule to cover operating hours from 07:00 to 17:30 CST - You are willing
and able to participate and cover rotating call service with 24/7 coverage with the obligation to carry company issued cell phone
