Position & Office Overview

As a Recruiting Specialist, you are extremely innovative and creative in your recruiting strategies. You play an important role on the recruiting team, supporting all efforts in attracting the best employees for ECS. Responsibilities

  • Supports the recruiting team and ECS hiring managers in various locations across the U.S.
  • Collaborates with Corporate HR to monitor, document, and develop new job titles, including communication with appropriate leadership and standing committees
  • Update job description content and formatting upon request
  • Maintains and creates all job templates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Ensures all job fields in the ATS reconcile with the matching fields in the HRIS
  • Utilizes the ATS to close or cancel positions in a timely manner, ensuring all data is in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action and OFCCP regulations; and that data is accurate on the candidate and jo fields
  • Tracks all positions placed in Internal Processing and follows appropriate steps to communicate effectively with hiring managers and recruiters until the positions are closed
  • Collaborates with Assistant Recruiting Specialist to keep positions refreshed following best practices
  • Ensures the ATS and all application processes are in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action and OFCCP regulations
  • Act as recruiting lead on the annual Applicant Tracking Data for AAP
  • Acts as ATS administrator, to include terminations, new hiring managers, new recruiters, location updates, etc., in conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition
  • Reviews and updates the ECS Limited Careers page on a quarterly basis
  • Acts as ECS contact for DC Jobs and state unemployment databases
  • Completes and submits all required reporting by the set due dates
  • Performs other clerical and analytical tasks as requested
  • Assists with ad hoc recruiting projects as needed
  • Assists with implementing best recruiting practices
  • Initiates and maintains open communication with recruiting team members and human resources to ensure all recruiting goals are met
  • And other recruiting duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 6 months - 2 years of experience
