Summary of the Job:

Our ideal Senior Salesforce Administrator candidate is team-oriented and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to mentor teammates by sharing knowledge and expertise. They must have a willingness to adopt new technology with a "no fear" approach and help others improve their technical acumen. In addition to supporting the team, they will also be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, testing, deploying, and supporting the Salesforce platform. As part of the squad, you will be expected to work with the team's product owner, solution architect and other administrators to contribute to any initiatives derived from our product roadmap. As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will be a key team member and instrumental in all platform aspects including configuration, administration, and support. Administration initiatives will be primarily focused on Salesforce, but may cover a variety of tasks such as interface configuration, API integrations, automated testing, and platform deployments that support a DevSecOps way of working.

About This Role:

  • Manage all aspects of user and license administration including new user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules
  • Own Salesforce configuration including Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features and recommend improvements
  • Create and maintain a platform roadmap, define priorities, and liaise with stakeholders
  • Own communication of platform changes to end users and stakeholders
  • Implement data quality rules and automation to improve overall Salesforce data integrity
  • Manage sandbox environments, data hygiene, and basic release management including change sets
  • Proactive system maintenance including security reviews, release updates, and health checks
  • Provide day-to-day end-user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Deliver new user onboarding and ongoing training to drive and monitor user adoption
  • Manage and support integrated applications including Marketing Cloud/Pardot
  • Work closely with stakeholders and business analysts to document, implement, and optimize system requirements
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides
  • Work iteratively within a collaborative Agile team managing tasks and help tickets in a fast-paced environment

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other technology related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years' experience with OOP development including Java, Apex, and/or C#.
  • 5+ years' experience with designing and implementing REST APIs for distributed applications
  • 3+ years' experience with Salesforce Administration
  • Experience and knowledge designing and implementing microservices, with a focus on applying API integration patterns for scale and reuse.
  • Experience with converting web services from SOAP to RESTful
  • Working knowledge of OpenAPI Spec/Swagger
  • Experience with API testing automation such as Postman or similar tools.
  • Ability to write quality unit, functional, and automated tests
  • Experience with testing frameworks: JUnit, Selenium, NUnit, etc.
  • Experience using API Security concepts (OAUTH 2.0, Throttling, Certificates, Keys, etc.)
  • Experience using Zuul Proxy, AWS API Gateway or other API management solutions.
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQLServer)
  • Working knowledge of Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven Development
  • Experience with Git as a version control system, in conjunction with solutions such as Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab
  • Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is desirable
  • Experience with node.JS is desirable
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $89,828.00-$148,215.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
