Primary Purpose of Job Supports the Investment Services team and Licensed Branch Employees (LBEs) with operational tasks, customer service requests, new account opening/maintenance and product research. Major Job Accountabilities
- Provides administrative support to customers, Financial Consultants (FCs), Associate Financial Consultants, and LBEs, which includes, but is not limited to, the following
- Answering customer phone calls and emails with requests for account servicing and research
- Processing customer service requests, new business, account inquiries and vendor account issue resolution
- Assisting FCs with research and problem resolution
- Acts as liaison with Broker Dealer back office and vendors
- Follows up with vendors and operations team regarding pending business, service request completions, agent reassignments, outstanding money movements and commissions.
- Performs operational tasks which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Compilation and verification of monthly FC Reports
- Daily wire to Broker Dealer
- Daily Commission Deposit BTE posting
- Agent reassignments with Broker Dealer and insurance companies
- Operational projects as assigned
Experience Required
- One (1) year of:
- Direct customer service and/or sales assistance experience, preferably in a retail, financial institution, or financial services industry setting.
Required Skills or Training
- Proficient skills in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
- Able to adapt to ongoing rapid change and grasp new processes and issues quickly.
- Able to strictly adhere to policies and procedures within a highly regulated environment.
Professional Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration Requirements
- Possess Hawaii Life and Health licenses or able to obtain licenses within 6 months of hire (preferred)
- Possess SIE, 7, and 66 licenses within 12 months of hire (preferred)
