Senior Product Designer, Mobile

Are you a visionary Senior Product Designer ready to shape the future of mobile experiences for a global community? We're seeking an experienced individual to lead the re-imagination and evolution of our client's mobile applications. In this pivotal role, you will own the full design lifecycle for their mobile platforms, collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver seamless, engaging experiences that impact millions of users daily. Your expertise in designing consumer-facing mobile products with international checkout experiences, engagement, and retention will be crucial as you innovate across areas like storytelling, user-generated content, search and discovery, video, and payments.

What You'll Do

• Define interaction and visual design standards for mobile products.
• Design user-centric experiences that balance user needs and business goals, can scale, and translate globally.
• Own and evolve the mobile design system.
• Provide an international design perspective within the product organization.
• Actively partner with the research team to conduct and analyze user research.
• Work with teams across the company toward building a mature ecosystem that serves the community.
• Collaborate with partners on cross-functional teams to ensure alignment where appropriate.

What You'll Bring

• Solid professional experience leading design for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
• A portfolio showcasing a proven track record of designing thoughtful, engaging, and highly usable mobile experiences.
• Knowledgeable of platform-specific design patterns and conventions across iOS and Android.
• Experience designing experiences for consumers in North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Experience designing with international privacy laws and regulations in mind.
• Experience designing for commerce-based companies with international checkout experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to consistently frame, explain, and support design decisions with peers and stakeholders, and deeply understand their feedback.
• Strengths in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
• Comfortable using both formal and informal methods to gather and give feedback.
• Experience with design programs like Figma and comfortable prototyping.
• Empathy for communities and recognition of their contribution to the ecosystem.
• Recognition of the challenges of the creative process and bringing projects to life.

The target hiring compensation for this role is a $158,393 base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
